This series was part of the inaugural exhibition with The Rookery Artists Collective.

The inspiration is based on exploring identity.

​

Through conversation we find our identity, who we talk to, what info we share, how we listen and how we are heard.

​

Being multi-lingual has many challenges and advantages. Translating something literary from one language to the other can come out as a whole different statement. Sometimes hilarious and sometimes not so.

​

Living a life lost in translation, makes for very interesting conversations.

​

I enjoyed painting this series way more than putting it into words.
